The RF wireless technology used provides extended range of use for the transmitter (worn on the wrist or as a pendant) and provides reliable function when it is needed most. The pendants and wrist devices may be worn in the bath or shower and are intended to be worn at all times.
The battery life in the wrist or pendant devices requires very low power enabling battery life to be on average 3 years at minimum. The back up battery in the base unit is continuously recharges and powers the unit for over 24 hours in the event of a power outage.
