I'm looking into getting an alarm system set up but not sure which one to go for & don't want to pay through the nose for it either, was quoted by ADT £666 plus £45 to the police & £25 per month for maintenance charges plus the bill for the phone calls if they have to call me in the event of a break in etc.Admin answers:666 for an ADT system... LOL how appropriate, at least they have a sense of humour over there.
I didn't realise they actually charge for making calls to deal with alarms. Over here there is a basic 25 buck per month charge and that covers phone calls out. The only extra charges would be police fines.
